Cannot be played, cannot be played, cannot be played...
More and more tracks requested "cannot be played" in MeCanto through the browser (Firefox 7). This is very annoying as there is no reason given and, upon insisting, it finally works, so there seems to a serving or bandwidth issue with the service. I would hate it to go to waste as this is by far the best one I have ever tested. Please fix this.

Well, looking now for alternate services and thinking of cancelling my subscription. Extremely disappointed by the lack of support and the bad service quality, all the more since I really loved MeCanto.

I agree fully.
Would be better if they developed apps for Synology and Qnap for instance and let us pay for Mecanto and let us have it inside our own NAS-servers instead.
Mecanto is good and works rather good for example Symbian phones which I like.
Sell your (Mecanto) ideas to Synology, Qnap and other NAS-providers before this plattform dies totally..

I will say the problem seems to have alleviated in the past few days - I hope it lasts. I so much love MeCanto I would really, really hate to see it disappear.

I guess I must have talked too quickly. The problem is back as it was, even worse - now whole albums which worked perfectly fine cannot be streamed anymore. This is outrageous for a paying service. And the lack of any answer whatsoever from support is infuriating. I am now looking towards alternate products and will cancel my subscription as soon as I find a working one.

I hadn't had much of this issue until yesterday, now I'm struggling to play more than 2 songs in a row without an error message

3 months I first posted that, no answer, nothing from MC employees. Found an expensive, but awesome alternative: check www.subsonic.org and try the self-hosting section (the Gigapros plan). I am delighted, in control of my content and everything plays nicely.
I am now cancelling my subscription to MC, albeit sadly. Loved it, but I'm paying for a service that doesn't play about 1 track out of 5, which is unacceptable. I would have gladly payed more for a functional service, but without any staff answer, I'm moving to greener pastures. Good-bye. -
