Problem with very long songs?

There seems to be a problem with very long songs. I listen to a lot of live Grateful Dead music and you know that a lot of their jams can run very long. Mecanto doesn't seem to like this. It seems to switch songs after about 8 min. most recent songs: Bird Song, from Dick's Picks vol 11 11:47, and Dancin in the Street, Dick's Picks vol 25 15:25. Is there a reason Mecanto doesn't like long cuts?
