Which MeCanto version you are working on?

Same problem here...

MeCanto crashes during indexing from a NDAS harddrive (LPX Protocol).
Using latest version of MeCanto on Windows XP Pro SP3.
It crashes with both folder and iTunes option.

...by the way, I'd like to see an option NOT to upload but just stream.
I don't find it necessary to have the files uploaded for I use a homeserver always internet-connected to stream... I'm guessing there are more people that are doing so. It would help your servers staying clean of wasted space.
And secondly a multiple log-in to the account would be nice for more family-members, listening to or using the same library at the same time.
At this moment you'll need 2 accounts for the same music if you want to log-in at the same time. Which means 2 times the uploads. So this would very much help your server to stay clean as well.

If I can help in any way by sending error reports, I'd like to do so via email, not via a forum. Some error reports do have personal info.

Love the program idea though, so keep up the good work!

You can contact us in support mail (support@mecanto.com) and send your log files, also please check again your version, the latest one is 1.0.5469.

If you don't want to upload, you can limit your uploading in
PC Client>>File>>Options--->Settings
Mark a check box and low your speed for minimum.
It'll not cancel the uploading absolutely, but it will be uploaded more slowly.
