If you see a connecting animation

in the system tray it means the MeCanto PC Client is trying to connect. If this animation does not go away after a few seconds you are probably experiencing connection problems.
The main cause of connection problems is related to firewall configuration. If your firewall is configured to pass HTTP traffic only and block all other outgoing connections this may cause connection problems. To solve this please configure your firewall to enable non HTTP outgoing connections. This usually happens when company network administrators attempt to secure the network by applying restrictive rules that mainly hamper employee productivity and satisfaction. Please explain the situation to your network administrator so he can fix your connection problem.
