Why won't mecanto upload all my music?
I'm using the PC application and have tried uploading music by individual folders as well as by my iTunes library and much (most) of my tracks are not uploading. Why is this?

MeCanto has limitations on track size and format. That might be your problem.

If the tracks that weren't uploaded have a "legal" size and format please write an email to support@mecanto.com including your MeCanto username and MeCanto PC Software (PCClient) log files (check out here how to find log files: http://gs.mecanto.com/mecanto/topics/... ). -

Same problem. I have the 30 day trial account. Started uploading 14K+ tracks (all under 30MB each). For the first 3 days, uploading proceded just fine. On the fourth day I was adding some files to the folder on my PC. MeCanto started indexing from the beginning, then continued by uploading only the 7 new files I had just added. When I accessed my files from my Android client, only those 7 files were available. I tried removing the original folder from my MeCanto PC client, then adding it again. This time it found 91 files, then stopped. Why can't MeCanto see all my files? They're all MP3 files under 30MB.

Hi,
We checked your account and we can see you have about 14k tracks in it. Of them about 10k are already uploaded. So you should have no problem seeing them from the web or your mobile phone. There are about 4k tracks left to be uploaded.
Can you see and play the tracks from your phone or your web account?
Is the PC Client application still uploading tracks?
Can you send us a screenshot of what you seen in the PC Client application after you log in and wait a few minutes for the application to finish the indexing stage?-

Deleting the log on my PC seems to have solved the problem. I can now see all my files on the PC and handheld clients. The PC client also shows it is uploading the remaining files. I would have sent you the screen shot you requested, but the email you sent has 'No reply' in the address. Thanks to you and Viki for helping with this problem.

I'm having this issue as well. I checked the size and format restrictions and also tried deleting the log. Mecanto gives me a thumbs up and says 29 tracks available online when I have ~5000 in iTunes.
Note: I have wayyy more than 29 tracks online when I visit Mecanto, but there are still many songs missing -
